I went there for depression and anxiety it's okay during the day but room time is hell you just sit there in your room no noise and you're not allowed to come out. Not to mention you don't get to wear flip flops in the shower.... After I got back home I had nightmares on going back but it did help and the nurses did care expect one who had no respect for anyone, if you're a parent I would think twice about sending a child there I cried every night I was there and the phone calls are limited. But it might help it sorta helped me.
The staff and nurses were amazing. They cared about the patients and they actually took the time to listen. If you ever need to detox or know someone that does stoner creek is the place. If you know someone in need of mental health stoner creek is the place.
2 stars for Dr. Ghanta... He listens, but he just throws Buspar at everyone. And everyone leaves with the same diagnoses. Be sure to have a solid follow up plan with your doctor.
5 stars for the babysitters, Excellent people, very friendly, They definitely make the atmosphere of this place a lot brighter. Especially Travis and Robbie.
I was there about 20 yrs ago or so give or take a yr ... when I was 17 yrs old I had a nervous breakdown because I was the " black sheep " of the family , everyone's " Cinderella " if you will , not to mention that I was everyone's human punching bag ! You will always have that one person that makes things miserable for everyone else but for the most part everyone there was really amazing ... I hope that everyone that has been there goes in the future has an experience like I did !

I was admitted for depression and anxiety, the place is absolutely amazing. They really do help. Although it can be boring, it does in fact help you think about what you're supposed to be working on (yourself). They make sure their job is done when you leave. I'm glad that I was admitted and got the help I really needed. I really do recommend it for anyone having any issues. The nurses are amazing, and so is the social worker is a very sweet lady. I love them all
2 and a half years clean and sober thanks largely in part to the folks here at Stoner Creek... Except Charity and Dr Buspar.
Mixed review here... NO STARS for Charity, the intake lady... Totally useless! She's going to wind up killing someone because she judges you and decides if you're worthy based on a phone call
